Characteristics

Hanex® Solid Surface is composed of Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) and Poly Methyl Methacrylate (PMMA) resin filled with Alumina-Trihydrate and other specialized formula to give it the timeless beauty and quality.

Fabrication
The Hanex® brand stands for quality and flexibility. Hanex® can be fabricated and installed using ordinary carpenter tools (with appropriate accessories), eliminating the need for expensive tools. Hanex® can only be fabricated and installed by Certified Hanex® Fabricators to ensure product quality & expert installation.

Durability
The unmatchable durability of Hanex® makes it a perfect choice for many applications. With the vast array of hues and textures, Hanex® can enhance any interior application. Most importantly, Hanex® Solid Surface products can be repaired and restored to their original condition, unlike other surfacing materials.

Stability

Thermal Stability
Hanex® resists change in color and shape when heat is applied to the material from an outside source, including direct and indirect heat sources. Hanex® has been tested in the following thermal categories:
- Heat Resistance
- Hot Water Resistance
- Weatherability
- UV Stability

Chemical Resistance
Hanex® resists certain acid, alkali and organic solvent without changing color and composition.

Maintenance/ Repairs
Unlike other surfacing materials, Hanex® is non-porous and solid throughout the entire material. These features make Hanex® virtually maintenance free and repairable.
