Hanex® 100% Acrylic Solid Surface is an ideal material for residential and commercial applications because of its beauty, durability, aesthetics, design flexibility and colour choices.

What is Hanex Made Out of?
Hanex® 100% Acrylic Solid Surface is an ideal material for residential and commercial applications because of its beauty, durability, aesthetics, design flexibility and colour choices.

Hanex® Solid Surface Products are available in 3 ranges:

i) Hanex Standard Range
Our standard range has been specifically developed to coordinate with range of materials and the latest European design trends. The range consists of plain neutral colours - (category H1) and particulate colours – (category H2).

ii) Hanex Ice Range
Our Ice Range lets you explore the interaction of light on solid surface products - the translucent nature of these products allows you to integrate backlit designs or simply let natural & artificial light transform the interior aesthetics of your home. Our Ice Range products are classed as category H2.

iii) Hanex Premier Range
Our Premier range uses transparent acrylic and pearl chip to capture the lustre & richness of natural stone and quartz. What’s more the Premier Range has enhanced emissions of ‘far infrared rays’ which help create a peaceful and inviting environment. Our Premier Rage is classed as category H3.

Hanex Characteristics

a) Durability
The unmatchable durability of Hanex® makes it a perfect choice for many applications. With the vast array of colours and designs, Hanex® can enhance any interior application. Most importantly, Hanex® 100% Acrylic Solid Surface can be repaired and restored to its original condition, unlike other surfacing materials.

b) Stability
Thermal Stability
Hanex® resists change in colour and shape when heat is applied to the material from an outside source, including direct and indirect heat sources. Hanex® has been tested in the following thermal categories:
Heat Resistance / Hot Water Resistance / Weatherability / UV Stability

c) Chemical Resistance
Hanex® resists certain acid, alkali and organic solvent without changing colour and composition. (Refer to the Hanex Chemical Resistance Report)

d) Stain Resistance
Hanex® will resist staining from daily use. (Stain Resistance Report)
Hanex® Products are non-porous material, NSF 51 Certified for Food Preparation surfaces, that can be applied in many applications where sanitation is utmost importance, such as kitchen and bathroom benchtops, hospital & medical applications, hospitality applications, schools and offices. Hanex® Solid Surfaces can be fabricated and installed in almost any application with inconspicuous seams, making Hanex® truly “Solid” in Surfacing materials.

e) Maintenance/ Repairs
Unlike other surfacing materials, Hanex® is non-porous and solid throughout the entire material. These features make Hanex® virtually maintenance free and repairable.

Hanex Applications:
Vertical & horizontal interior surface applications.

Residential: Kitchen & bathroom benchtops, Integrated sinks & bowls, bathroom wall cladding, lighting and objects of art.

Commerical: Office / hospitality and medical counters & benchtops, reception desks, bathroom benchtops and vanities, food preparation areas, tabletops, commercial fitouts including expressed and seamless wall cladding, lift and foyer surrounds.

Hanex Finishes and Edge Profiles
Hanex® Solid Surface Products can be finished in either a matte, semi-gloss or high-gloss finish.

Supply and Warranty
Hanex® Solid Surface Products can only be supplied and installed via XFLO certified fabricators. Please contact XFLO for details.

Speciifying Hanex Solid Surface Products
When specifying Hanex® Solid Surface Products please ensure you nominate the colour and model number.

Note: Substrates suitable for fabricating Hanex® Solid Sufaces include plywood, Craftwood MR and particleboard. The highest load bearing material is 25mm Plywood.

The Hanex® maximum unsupported overhangs allowable are 150mm. Overhangs exceeding 150mm can be engineered with substrate to increase the allowable overhang to 300mm, beyond 300mm contact XFLO for technical advice.
